3 MIN

This year, I have:

- Invested in 1 new business, Experiment5m.

- Built 2 new competencies, #AI and #BI, in Automation House.

- Narrowed my focus: I participated in 3 masterminds and have been following only 3 people on my Instagram.

- Visited 12 countries: 🇦🇹 Austria, 🇲🇹 Malta, 🇹🇷 Turkiye, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan, 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan, 🇹🇯 Tajikistan, 🇭🇰 Hong Kong SAR, 🇲🇴 Macau SAR, 🇭🇷 Croatia, 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates, 🇬🇪 Georgia, and spent 86 days total abroad.

- Read 20 books, and they gave me the ROI on time compared only to deep thinking sessions and my masterminds.

- Helped XXII Ventures grew by 40% despite harsh market conditions.

- Supported 52 founders in the monthly Hellenization program and many more for free, recording late-night Looms or writing short words of encouragement and advice.

- Was hiring 110 people who I genuinely believe are the top 1% of talent in the market.

- Maintained and expanded my fitness routines, doing 195 workouts this year (107 gym, 50 muay thai, 15 tennis, 8 cardio, 6 mobility, 4 snow sports), learning from great professionals like 🥊 Grzegorz, 🎾 Olgierd, and 💪 Maciej.

- I worked 210 days without a single day of rest since January 1st, and then stopped counting; I had between 7 and 10 non-working days during the year.

- For 365 days I’ve received continuous support from Mira, and it had a magnificent impact on my mindset.

My main conclusion?

Move through life like a whirlwind and stay on the offensive.

- You can skip the gym and say that you are body-positive.

- You can procrastinate and say that it’s work-life balance.

- You can attribute someone else's success to luck or privilege.

But in fact, it’s your ego protecting you from potential failure. You settle for less and build ideologies around your excuses. Soon, you lose your grit and build the whole philosophy around that.

Instead of starting small and being on the upward curve, too often, we choose self-pity and downplaying others.

”If I only didn’t…”

”If the government only…”

”If the economy only…”

Of course, then you would be a killer 😀

As late Charlie Munger once said:

”When you avoid self-pity, you get a great advantage over almost everybody else because self-pity is a standard condition, and yet you can train yourself out of it.”

So, in this post, there is not a single drop of self-pity. I needed to make so many hard choices that it has become the most powerful habit in my arsenal.

I am grateful that I'm entering 2024 healthy, and prepared to take our businesses to another level, no excuses.

It’s your turn:

1. Name one mental barrier you crushed in 2023.

2. Name one mental barrier you will crush in 2024.

Be open and inspire others! :)
